EDUCATIONAL TOUR TO “DAFFODIL NURSERY”

Description: An Educational tour was organized to Daffodil Nursery, Dhupguri Pachim Nagaon on 15th Sept, 2023. Total 38 students of 5th semester participated in the tour. It is the biggest nursery of North East India spread over 40 bighas which is located about 160km from the B.H. College, Howly. Most of the common and also rare and exotic plant species and seedlings are available. The collection of plants is diverse and the orchid section is amazing. We visited the mother plant block, green house, cutting, layering and grafting block and also bonsai plants. They let us know the landscaping of Accoland, Guwahati, Sradhanjuli Kanan, Nehru Park by them.
