Women Cell: CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Description: The Women’s Cell of B.H. College celebrated Women’s Day by promoting women entrepreneurship. Due to the Higher Secondary Examination schedule and the Shivratri holiday on 8th March 2024, the event was held on 7th March 2024. On this day, members of the Women’s Cell visited Juna Tamuli Barman, a renowned entrepreneur from Bhujkuchiyapara Village, Pathshala. They felicitated her and engaged in an interactive session.
Juna Tamuli Barman has received numerous accolades for her exceptional contributions. She was honored by the former Governor of Assam, J.B. Patnaik, in 2013, and received the Mukhyamantri Prerna Award in 2018 as the best woman dairy farmer of the state. She also won the Best Dairy Farmer Award at the National Livestock Show in 2019, an Excellence Certificate from WAMUL in 2015, and the Dalmia Young Achievers Award in 2021, along with many local and departmental awards.
