It is indeed a great privilege on my part to offer a warm welcome to all who desire to pursue their studies in this premier institution of higher education. The college, celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the year 2016, came into being in 1966 as the cumulative consequence of the noble initiative and painstaking efforts collectively undertaken by a host of leading citizens and the general public of greater Barpeta Road and BHowly area under the leadership of Late Sjt. S. N. Das, the founder principal of the college.
