Industrial Visit

Description: A Comprehensive Report on Industrial Visit to Ghosh Egg Sumeru Suppliers & Traders Pvt. Ltd. And Astha Dairy Farm: To give practical exposure and to get idea of the working environment of industries, the students of Department of BBA-2022, B. H. College, Howly, planned to look for an industrial visit and accordingly, on 12th December, 2022, students of Department of BBA make a visit to Ghosh Egg Sumeru Suppliers & Traders Pvt. Ltd. and Astha Dairy Farm. A group of 48 students comprises BBA 1st, 3rd and 5th Semester-2022 and 6 teachers under e guidance of Dr. Bhabanana Deb Nath, Coordinator, BBA, were visited those farms and had great experience and learning. We all assembled at the college at 8.00 AM and our respected Principal Sir; Dr. B.C. Pathak, initiated the journey by his short speech about the discipline and how to proceeds for the visit and we left the College campus in a big Bus by 9.06 AM. First we reached to the Ghosh Egg Farm, by 11.10 AM, and a farm in-charge gave a brief introduction about the farm. Then he took us around from one section to another and allowed us to visit the laying rooms in a disciple manner. Where Hens are being kept to produce eggs. The are 12 huge rooms altogether, of those rooms one room is for as Chicks room with 70000 capacity, another two rooms used Goyer rooms and rest nine of the rooms are used as laying rooms, which are very big in size with an average capacity of 20000 hens. The farm produces around 1,20,000 to 1,30,000 eggs per day and that exceeds during the season. Eggs are primarily sold in three districts namely Bongaogoan, Goalpara and Barpeta and that even unable to meet the demands.
