Swach Bharat Abhyan

Description: Swacch Bharat Abhyan is a nation-wide clean India campaign launched by the Government of India on October 2, 2014. To be part of this journey of the government the Bodo department decided to organize a Swacch Bharat Abhyan at adopted villages of B.H. College, Howly. Accordingly the event was organized successfully on 15-12-23 by the department at Madhura Mohan Brahma Lower Primary School located at Simlajhar village, one of the adopted villages of the college. After the awareness session all the participants including teachers and students actively engaged in cleaning the school premises. They divided into groups and started cleaning the school verandah, corridor and playground and the school surroundings. The Swacch Bharat Abhyan organised by the Department was great suxccess. It not only created awarness about cleanliness and hygine but also motivated the students and the villagers to acitively participate in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Such initiatives play a crucial role in promoting a sense of resoponsibilty towards cleanliness and contribute the overall successof the Swacch Bharat Abhyan campaign.
