National Science Day on 28 Feb, 2025

Description: On the occasion of National Science Day-2025, ‘The Science Forum’, B. H. College, Howly organized a programme on 28th February. The programme included a Merit Award Ceremony also. Dr. Kamal Saharia, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Bhattadev University was invited for a talk on the occasion. He also delivered a beautiful lecture on theoretical plasma and explained about the Artificial Sun. Six toppers of six departments, viz, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany and Statistics were felicitated for their B.Sc. results in the year 2024 and also awarded prizes. Best Graduate Prize went to Ankita Das, Zoology, having a CGPA of 9.22. The programme started at 11 AM in the seminar hall. Dandeswar Deka, Secretary, ‘The Science Forum’ conducted the programme.
