Merit award, 2015, 2016 & 2017

Description: Merit award distribution ceremony was organized by ‘The Science Forum’, B. H. College, Howly on 25th September, 2017. The ceremony was conducted by Dr. Suruchi Singh, Secretary, ‘The Science Forum’ which was held in the Seminar Hall at 12.30 PM. The merit award was introduced from the year 2015 for both HS and UG level students. Students securing 90% and above in HS final examination were selected for the award. In UG level, B. Sc. passed students securing highest percentage one each in the major subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany and Statistics were selected for the award. The best science graduate of our college is also selected for the award. The award comprised of a certificate along with a memento for each awardee. The awards for the years 2015, 2016 & 2017 were distributed together in the ceremony. Dr. B. C. Pathak, Principal, Prof. S. P. Goswami, Vice-Principal, Dr. G. Goswami, HoD, Sanskrit, Prof. M. K. Bhowmick, HoD, Botany, Prof. Rodali Talukdar, HoD, Chemistry, Prof. Sadananda Nath, HoD, Zoology and Prof. Sanatan Kumar Nath, HoD, Physics, B. H. College, Howly given away the prizes to the awardees. All the teachers and students were present in the ceremony which made the event a grand success.
