World Poetry Day-2024

Description: Today, 21-3-2024, BH College Sahitya Chara organized a seminar on the occasion of World Poetry Day. The topic of the seminar was the creation of poetry. Resource Person of the seminar is Dr.Hemanta Deka, Associate Professor of Assamese Deptt and established poet. In addition to a beautiful discussion on poetry by Dr.Hemant Deka, he also reads self-composed poems. Dr.Prasanta Rabha,Assistant Professor of Assamese also reads self-composed poems. The meeting also screened a documentary prepared by the Sahitya Akademi based on the life of Jnanpith Award winning poet Nilmani Fukan. The meeting is conducted by Usha Das, President of B.H.College Sahitya Chora.
