The NCC Unit of B H College, Howly was introduced in the college at the time of its inception with grand mission of nurturing dynamic youth of this college. The college unit was introduced under the charge of the founder Principal Sjt. Satya Nath Das. Now the cadets strength is SW=39, SD=41 total=80. During the last 5 years, a numbers of cadets successfully participated in different National, state and unit level camps. In this year total 16 cadets has got appoint in different defense service. Among then Mokibul Islam and Sofiqul Islam selected as SI of Assam Police. Shahar Ali, Narayan Arjya and Farijul Khan selected in Army in the last year. Khairul Islam, Jinnat Ali, Mohidul Islam, Madusmita Barman ( Commando), Nikita Nath and Zaman seleced in Assam police in this year. SUO Azizul Mullah Participated in 15 August Parade in New Delhi. UO Simi Baishya awarded as best cadet in unit level camp. Aims of NCC : o To develop character, comradeship,Discipline, leadership, secular outlook,Spirit of adventure and the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country. o To create a human resource of organized,trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and always available for the service of the nation. o To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career inthe Armed Forces.
