Meeting in collaboration with the Barpeta Road Sahitya Sabha on 22nd May, 2023

Description: A meeting was held under the courtesy of the Assamese Department with the collaboration of Barpeta Road Sahitya Sabha on 22-05-2023. The topic of the meeting was " Correct pronunciation and spelling of Assamese Language". Prominent linguist Pramod Ch. Bhattacharya was the resource person of the meeting. Hitesh Das, President of Barpeta Road Sahitya Sabha was present in the meeting. Vice-Principal Ranjit Bhuyan delivered the welcome speech. Dr. Renu Hazarika, HoD, Assamese presided over the meeting. Dr. Dipmani Das, Dr. Sultan Ali Ahmed, Dr. Debabrata Dutta along with the Professors of Assamese Department were present in the meeting. U.G. & P.G. students were mostly benefited from the lecture of P. C. Bhattacharya.
