Special lecture on Bodo Language on 01-03-2023

Description: Assam is a paradise for linguistics. Tibetan-Burmese languages are scattered throughout Assam. As a result, the Assamese language developed differently from other New-Indian Aryans. Bodo is one of the Tibetan-Burmese languages. The Bodo language has influenced the Assamese language in various aspects. Therefore it is very much important for the students to have knowledge of Bodo language. Considering this aspect, a special lecture on Bodo Language has been arranged by the Department of Assamese, B. H. College, Howly on 01-03-2023. Dr. Dipali Kherkatary, HoD, Bodo, B. H. College has been invited as resource person to speak on Bodo language. In her speech, Dr. Kherkatary has explained the various aspects of Bodo language. The faculty members and students of Assamese Department are present in the programme making it a grand success.
