PREPARATION FOR EXAMINATION IN ENGLISH AND MANAGING EXAM STRESS. 07.12.2022

Description: Focusing on English literature as an academic discipline, a lecture was organised to help the students to prepare for exams and manage stress levels. therefore two prominent figures assiciated with the discipline was invited for the talk.
Dr. Birinchi Kumar Das gave an enlightening lecture on how to manage stress during an exam. He also encouraged the students to appear for different competitive exams. In the same event, Dr. Nayanjyoti Das, alumni of the department and now serving as the principal of Sarupeta College, was also felicitated by the department to encourage and inspire the students. He also illuminated the students with his excellent speech. Apart from the resource persons, Dr. B.C. Pathak, Principal, B.H. College, and Shailan Kr. Kakati, Associate Professor, Dept. of Economics, were also present at the event. Although the event was organised by the English department and the focused audience were the students of the department, students from other departments were also present. Dr. Dipmani Das, Head of the Department, Dr. Sultan Ali Ahmed, Rajlakshmi Dutta, and Bidisha Dowarah were present at the meeting.
