INTRODUCTION
25 years after the establishment of B.H. College, the Bodo students, along with Bodo faculty members, came together to form the Bodo Students' Literary Association (BSLA) in 1991. This initiative aimed to uphold and promote the culture and literature of the Bodo tribe.
The association comprises a 12-member executive body, including a President and General Secretary. Sri Chandan Muchahary served as the founding President, while Sri Gobinda Goyary held the position of founding General Secretary.
BSLA fosters a strong bond among Bodo students, promoting educational growth and development. The association offers various platforms for students, including:
- Literary and cultural competitions
- Leadership development opportunities
- Seminars and workshop
By empowering Bodo students through education and culture, BSLA bridges cultural gaps, promotes diversity, and fosters a sense of community and belonging.
