Our endeavor is to inspire our students, faculty and students from neighboring villages to stay active and reach their potential in sport and fitness. As a part of our co-curricular activities the sports cell of B.H.College has always encouraged the students to participate in Inter – college, Inter -University, State, national level sports events. Proper training is provided on a regular basis along with financial support. The sports cell has been actively involved in organizing all sports events of College Week every year.
THE OBJECTIVES
a. To motivate students to become part of the ongoing recreational and competitive sports programme.
b. To inform the students about the benefits of being involved in an active lifestyle.
c. To involve faculty members to assist the Department of Physical Education and Sports Management in promoting, organizing and supervising the college Sports and ‘Active Life’ programme.
d. To feature ‘Fitness Management’ in the Time Table and to assign a Physical Instructor to monitor the students’ presence in the activities conducted during the morning and evening sessions.
THE ROLES AND THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COLLEGE:
a. The college will give priorities to Sports and shall consider it as an integral part of the College academic programme.
b. The college shall make available necessary funds and infrastructure to implement the policy to its fullest.
c. The college will encourage/invite talented sportsmen to join the college.
d. The college will make provision in the college time table so as to involve students in Competitive as well as recreational sports.

| GOLAPI DAS AND Dr. MOKSHED ALI MEMORIAL MASTERS VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION ON THE 3RD OCTOBER 2019 | GOLAPI DAS AND Dr. MOKSHED ALI MEMORIAL MASTERS VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY: B.H. COLLEGE, HOWLY ON THE 3RD OCTOBER 2019 On the 3rd October 2019 B.H. College Sports Cell organised Golapi Das and Dr. Mokshed Ali Memorial Masters Volleyball Competition at B.H. College playground. Total 6 number of teams participated in this tournament. The tournament was inaugurated by District Transport Officer Barpeta. Dr Bhushan Ch. Pathak Principal B. H College Howly, donor Pankaj kumar Das and Maniruddin Ahmed, all the teachers and all the members and students of B. H College Howly were present in the opening ceremony. The team of Bajali and Howly entered in the finals. Bajali won against Howly by 3-1 set.Also a girls exhibition Volleball match was played between the B. H College girls team and Barpeta girls team. | GAUHATI UNIVERSITY INTER COLLEGE ATHLETICS AND BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP 2019-2020 | The team of B. H. College won 8 medals in Gauhati University Inter College Athletics and Boxing Championship 2019-2020, organized by Dr. Anita Baruah Sharma college of Education on the 22nd and 23rd February, 2020 at Sarusajai Sports Complex Guwahati. The team consist of 10 player, one in charge Dr. Robinjyoti Khataniar and Coach Sourav Talukdar. In athletics events Risu Raut, Animesh Das,Mahidul Islam, Anuwara Parbin won 3 Silver medals and 2 Bronze medals and in boxing events Ankur Bhusan Das,Tanmay Bayan, Jitumani Das won 3 Silver medals. The team of B.H. College won 2nd highest medals in the tournament. | |

About 130 No of girls students were participated in this program. The Certificates were distributed among the participants after the completion of program in presents of Dr. B. Ch. Pathak, Principal, Dr. R. Khataniar, Co-coordinator, IQAC, and other teachers of B. H. College, Howly. |
